‘Best Arts & Entertainment Campaign of the Year’ by the
Bulldog Awards for Excellence in Media Relations and Publicity

LCO continues winning trend of four decades straight

(LOS ANGELES) June 15, 2010 … LCO – Levine Communications Office (www.LCOonline.com) has won the prestigious 2010 Bulldog Award for Excellence in Media Relations and Publicity, the Oscar of the public relations industry, for ‘Best Arts and Entertainment Campaign of the Year.’ LCO won for their illustrious campaign on behalf of the iconic rock band KISS (www.KISSonline.com) in support of the band’s new album Sonic Boom and subsequent 44-city North American tour.

The LCO – Levine Communications Office team included Executive Vice President Liam Collopy, Account Manager Lee Runchey and Senior Account Manager Eddie Garcia.

“The Bulldog Awards are the Oscars of the public relations industry and the only thing that’s better than winning this award is to have won on behalf of a legendary band like KISS who is one of my favorite bands,” said Executive Vice President Liam Collopy. “This is truly an honor.”

Collopy is no stranger to winning the award. He previously won the 2006 Bulldog Awards for Excellence in Media Relations and Publicity in the category of ‘Arts and Entertainment Campaign of the Year’ for his stellar campaign on behalf of Hollywood stuntmen who were lobbying for a well-deserved Oscar category recognizing their extraordinary contributions to the art of filmmaking by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The win is very personal for first-time award recipient Lee Runchey. For Runchey, who relocated to Los Angeles from Detroit 18 months ago, the award marked a nod to her hometown roots and Detroit Rock City, one of KISS’ greatest hits that was written in homage to The Motor City, the first major city to embrace the iconic band in their early days.

LCO – Levine Communications Office has consistently won national awards in the last four decades. Since 1983, founder Michael Levine and LCO – Levine Communications Office have represented 58 Academy Award winners and some of the biggest names in entertainment.
