Liam Collopy serves as President of LCO - Levine Communications Office where he heads up the firm’s Talent, Personality and Literary divisions. An award-winning ten-year publicity veteran, Liam comes to LCO from Ruder-Finn Public Relations where he served as Senior Account Executive on Sony, the company’s largest and most successful account. Prior to Ruder-Finn, Liam held the position of Senior Account Executive with both Magnet Communications and MarComm Public Relations working on accounts as diverse as ONI Systems (now Ciena) to Jamba Juice. Liam began his career with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in San Francisco.

 

During his public relations tenure, Liam has had the distinction of garnering a number of national awards on behalf of his clients, spearheading successful media campaigns and tours, and obtaining prominent client placement in leading national media outlets including CNN, Fox and Friends, Good Morning America, Oprah, The Today Show, The View, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Life & Style, Newsweek, People, Star, TIME and US Weekly among numerous media results. On the literary front, Liam’s exemplary talents resulted in two concurrent New York Times’ bestsellers.

 

Liam’s creativity and expertise in media relations resulted in his winning the prestigious 2006 Bulldog Awards (the Oscars of PR) for Arts and Entertainment Campaign of the Year for his stellar campaign on behalf of Hollywood stuntmen who were lobbying for a well-deserved Oscar category recognizing their extraordinary contributions to the art of filmmaking by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.  Liam also won the same award again in 2010 on behalf of the iconic rock band KISS (www.KISSonline.com) in support of the band’s new album Sonic Boom and subsequent 44-city North American tour.

 

Liam earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Marketing from Notre Dame de Namur University in June of 2001 where he served as his graduating class’ representative speaker. Liam has been recognized as a Lifetime Member by both the Golden Key National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation for academic excellence.
